Cervinka RF001 FIRE FIGHTING FOAM KARATE AFFF 3% F
Technical Specification
- Make: Cervinka
- Model code: RF001
- Type: KARATE AFFF 3% F
KARATE AFFF 3% F is specially formulated for extinguishing and securing flam-mable hydrocarbon liquid fires even at low ambient temperatures, as low as -15°C. It is based on foaming agents and stabilizers. The combination with low concen-trated short chain fluorocarbon surface active agents, which comply of course with the EU directive 2006/122/EG, produces a vapour-suppressing aqueous film that spreads rapidly over hydrocarbon surfaces to provide rapid control and extinguish-ment. KARATE AFFF 3% F is intended for use at a proportioning rate of 3% (3 parts concentrate to 97 parts water) on hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, etc. It can be applied with conventional discharge devices as low expansion, medium and high expansion foam. KARATE AFFF 3% F is type approved in accordance with the requirements of the standards DIN EN 1568 Part 3 (2008) under the certification number SP-77/11 as fire extinguishing foam concentrate to generate low expansion foam for combatting fires of classes A and B according to DIN EN 2. Non-toxic. It is physiologically harmless and with the ex-ception of the fluorochemicals readily biodegradable. Technical data: Density at 20°C: 1.05 – 1.09 kg/l Freezing point: -15°C pH Value at 20°C: 6.0 - 8.5 Kin. Viscosity at 20°C: < 3 mm²/s at 0°C: < 5 mm²/s at -15°C: < 8 mm²/s Sediments: none 25% / 50% Water Drainage Time asLow Expansion Foam > 2 minutes* / > 4 minutes*Foam Expansion Values asLow Expansion Foam > 6 times* (*: depending on the foam equipment used and operating conditions)
