It can be used for extinguishing electrical equipment under voltage up to 1000 V from a minimum distance of 1 m. The device is under constant pressure, and after use is refillable. Pressure of fire extinguisher is visible on the pressure gauge installed on the valve. Water content cools the fire source. Vermiculite platelets encapsulate the fuel source creating an oxygen barrier. The vermiculite film is not electrically conductive. It is nearly twice as effective as water on a class A fire, it can be applied as a fire break to prevent the propagation of fire and is environmentally friendly.
