Neutral Plus is a synthetic bio-degradable foam concentrate usable at 6% (at low as well as medium expansion) to neutralize acid and alkaline gaseous vapors. Based on a unique combination of surfactants and foam stabilizers, it makes a stable barrier impervious to toxic vapors. Specifications: Appearance: Orange gel Specific gravity at 20°C: 1.05 ± 0.02 Kg/dm3 pH at 20°C: 7.0 ± 1.0 Viscosity at 20°C: 1500 mPa.s Viscosity at -10°C: 1900 mPa.s Sediments: < 0.1 % Freezing point: - 13°C Temperature of use: - 10°C / + 50°C Foam Quality at 6 %: Low Expansion: 10 Drainage time 25 %: 15 minutes Medium Expansion: 60 Applications: Non-Reactive Chemicals Applied at Medium Expansion over non reactive chemicals (acids and their aqueous solutions), amines, ammonia… Minimum application rate: 10 l/m2.mn. Foam blanket should be at least 1 metre high and continuously renewed until spill control Reactive chemicals Applied at Low Expansion and gentle application or Medium Expansion Minimum application rate: 20 l/m2.mn. Once vapors are neutralized, at least 10 centimeters thick foam blanket is maintained Other Features: Used only with tap water Suitable with all kinds of known equipment
