WAGNER Rail GmbH, a subsidiary of the fire protection solution provider WAGNER with a focus on fire protection solutions for rail transport, is expanding its management team on October 1, 2023.
Together with Dr. Markus Müller and Dr. Peter Stahl, the graduate industrial engineer Bernhard Weindl will drive the expansion and further development of WAGNER Rail GmbH as an additional managing director.
Bernhard Weindl
The industry specialist comes from Knorr-Bremse, where he worked as a Sales Manager in Japan in Tokyo and most recently in Munich as Director of Global Sales Hydraulics at Knorr-Bremse SfS GmbH.
At WAGNER, he succeeds Dipl.-Ing. Markus Kock, whose contract as Managing Director at WAGNER Rail GmbH expires on March 31, 2024. Markus Kock, who has held the position of Managing Director of WAGNER Deutschland GmbH since it was founded in 2020, will thus once again concentrate consistently on the further development of the core market of Germany.

Dipl.-Ing. Werner Wagner, founder and managing director of the group, is looking forward to the upcoming collaboration.

TITANUS® smoke detectors
WAGNER offers comprehensive fire protection solutions for rail transport. With the aspirating smoke detectors of the TITANUS ® family, the portfolio includes fire detection systems that are immune to false alarms and enable rapid detection of smoke gases.
An innovative water mist system is used to fight fires in the passenger area; gas or aerosol extinguishing systems are used to protect the technical areas in sealed-off parts of the train or technical containers. The various WAGNER fire protection systems are often combined in rail vehicles and mobile applications, thus guaranteeing a safe journey for passengers and an uninterrupted journey for the train operator.
