In the 2017/2018 academic year, the WAGNER Group is sponsoring the "WIR Scholarship". Half of the scholarship is funded by the federal government as a "Germany Scholarship" and the other half by a private company - such as the WAGNER Group.

On January 25, 2018, the ceremonial presentation of the scholarship certificates took place on the premises of the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover, as part of the university event "Invitation to Dialogue". 100 students can look forward to the support this academic year.

WIR scholarship

Prof. Dr. Josef von Helden, President of the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover, awarded the certificates. Ben Yannick Zinn, a student of industrial engineering with a specialization in electrical engineering, will be supported by WAGNER as a scholarship holder for one year.

The WIR scholarship is awarded annually at the University of Applied Sciences in Hanover. The aim is to train specialists practically and to support them financially.

In addition, the WAGNER Group, together with other members of the Zukunft.INC corporate network, Heise Medien, Sennheiser, ibk IngenieurConsult, HaCon, and VSM AG, offer scholarship holders the opportunity to network with other companies.

This gives students the chance to gain extensive insights into Hanover companies. For the Zukunft.INC corporate network, the scholarship support makes an important contribution to promoting future employees and managers in the Hanover region.
