"Why. Your data center questions in a nutshell," this is the motto of the 360°dcLounge pavilion, where WAGNER will present itself and its fire protection solutions. But not only the 360°dcLounge stand, but also Hall 12 will focus on operators, planners and builders of data centers. This will be the first time that all expertise on this topic has been brought together at CeBIT.

OxyReduct® technology
OxyReduct® technology is based on the clever solution of preventing a fire from starting in the first place
One of the products is the active oxygen reduction technology OxyReduct®, which actively protects instead of just reacting. The preventive system starts before a fire starts and protects IT companies against operational interruptions and data loss. The OxyReduct® technology is based on the clever solution of preventing a fire from starting in the first place.
To do this, the oxygen content in the area to be protected is permanently reduced below the ignition limit of the materials present there and kept at this level in a controlled manner. The nitrogen required for oxygen reduction is generated on site from the ambient air as required.
TITANUS ® aspirating smoke detectors
For the earliest possible fire detection – the basis of every fire protection concept – WAGNER relies on its proven aspirating smoke detectors from the TITANUS ® family. They detect even the smallest amounts of pyrolysis particles by taking air samples, so that smoke from a smoldering cable, for example, is detected before a real fire develops.
Ideal for raised floors, hard-to-reach areas and for protecting rooms and furnishings. The time savings achieved by active detection at an early stage of development means that major damage can be avoided by timely intervention. WAGNER offers the TITANUS RACK·SENS ® especially for server cabinets: a 19” network-capable detector in one or two height units that can be easily integrated into servers or implemented in server cabinets.
FirExting® extinguishes fires
Inert gas nitrogen enables multi-stage fire protection concepts in conjunction with an OxyReduct ® system
A gas extinguishing system for data centers that works efficiently and, above all, without leaving residues: these are the properties of FirExting® from WAGNER. Depending on the requirements of the operator and the individual conditions on site, CO2 , Novec 1230 and, above all, nitrogen are used as extinguishing gases.
The inert gas nitrogen enables multi-stage fire protection concepts in conjunction with an OxyReduct ® system. The oxygen content in a shelter can initially be reduced with such a system to such an extent that there is already a reduced fire risk. If fire detectors such as TITANUS® detect smoke development, a FirExting® extinguishing system can be used to quickly reduce the oxygen level to a concentration that can be used to extinguish the fire.
WAGNER's innovative products
The OxyReduct® system can then maintain the reduced oxygen concentration in the room indefinitely in order to locate and eliminate the cause of the fire. This allows fire protection solutions to be created that are tailored to the customer and their needs and combine preventive fire prevention technology and energy-saving system technology.
