Fire Fighting Enterprises Ltd. is delighted to announce the appointment of Tracy Kirk as their new Head of Sales & Marketing. Tracy is a veteran of the fire safety industry with 24 years experience in the field, and has been Chair of the Fire Industry Association Export Council since April 2005.
Initially introduced to the sector with FIRTO (now LPCB/BRE), the UK certification body, she started out by testing beam detectors for compliance with the British Standard. This was followed up by a 12 year stint with Apollo Fire Detectors as Export Manager, where she pioneered their sales growth into the Latin American market. Six years with audio-visual signalling company Vimpex followed, and now Tracy has come nearly full circle by heading up worldwide sales and marketing operations for beam detector specialist FFE.
"I'm really quite excited by this opportunity, as I think there's a lot of scope to increase the scale of our marketing and sales activity across the globe." she said. "The company is already successfully developing its presence in the European, American and Asian markets, but there is always scope for more. We have a unique product range backed up with great after-sales support, and more and more people are recognising its valuable benefits - and I think we can speed up that process."
