Knoxville Fire Department has purchased three new fire trucks from Ferrara taking the count to seventeen

Knoxville Fire Department employs over 300 full time fire-rescue professionals and operates eighteen fire stations.

The City of Knoxville has just purchased three new fire trucks from Ferrara Fire Apparatus, America's premier custom fire apparatus manufacturer. The Knoxville Fire Department has used Ferrara trucks since 2003 and currently has fourteen of them in their fleet. The new trucks, two custom pumpers and a 77' aerial ladder, will all be built on Ferrara's successful Igniter heavy duty custom chassis.
