The RemTech Expo event was held in Ferrara (19-21 Sept.), the international event specializing in remediation, environmental and natural risks, safety, maintenance, redevelopment, regeneration of the territory, climate and chemical changes circular.
Tema Sistemi contributed to the ChemTech seminar coordinated by Dr. Eng. Francesco Del Litto of Eni-Versalis, with an intervention relating to the regulatory aspects of the ‘Fire prevention design in chemical and petrochemical plants’.
Design of fire prevention systems
The topic was presented by Eng. Nicola Denunzio, Project Engineer of Tema Sistemi SpA, who highlighted the regulatory aspects of the design of fire prevention systems for the chemical and petrochemical sectors.
In particular, there has been talk of ‘maintenance planning’ as a fundamental element for the preservation of the performance of the systems over time and the reduction of their ‘aging’.
Precisely for this reason, Denunzio underlined the importance of the definition already in the planning phase of diversification in the timing and methods of intervention maintenance of fire systems in various environments, even if they are part of the same plant.
