Module M210E-CZR is manufactured by System Sensor Europe

M210E-CZR, which was exhibited at FDIC 2010, allows an existing conventional zone to be interfaced to the addressable system, enabling it to be installed in stages without loss of protection.

System Sensor Europe has introduced an updated conventional zone interface module, the M210E-CZR, designed for use in addressable fire systems to enable a zone of conventional two-wire detectors to be managed by the control panel via a single module address on a loop.

The module enables conventional intrinsically safe detectors to interface with an addressable system, a typical installation methodology in well-defined locations such as separate machinery rooms and boiler houses, where knowing the individual detector address is not necessarily important. In addition to this core functionality, when existing conventional systems are being replaced and upgraded with a new addressable system, the M210E-CZR allows an existing conventional zone to be interfaced to the addressable system, enabling it to be installed in stages without loss of protection.

In common with other System Sensor modules, the unit can be housed in a stand-alone enclosure or mounted on a standard 35mm DIN rail. The module operates over a wide 12 to 28.5VDC voltage range and limits the zone current to a maximum of 60mA. The power for the conventional detector zone can be supplied from an external power supply or from the analogue loop. The M210E-CZR can also be used to interface System Sensor's conventional beam detector to addressable control panels.
