Superior Group of Companies, Inc. announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Andy Demott, has been named the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2018 CFO of the Year in the Large Company category.
Twenty Tampa Bay area CFOs were selected as candidates for the 2018 CFO of the Year award. Demott was chosen as the winner by an independent panel of judges, who were tasked with evaluating the nominees’ business acumen, prior year achievements and community impact.
Recognizing Andy’s contribution to the company

Demott was not in attendance at the award ceremony as he was conducting planning meetings with SGC’s newest acquisition, CID Resources.
