Powered by C4 LED technology, the new red Vantage features an improved light output of 115 lumens

Streamlight, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting to the fire service industry, has introduced a bright red version of its Vantage helmet-mounted tactical light, featuring the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) logo. Streamlight will donate $3.00 from the sale of each light to the Foundation. 

“The Vantage offers a super-bright, hands-free lighting option to firefighting personnel and other first responders,” said Streamlight Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Michael F. Dineen. “Its integrated bracket design makes it extremely easy to use – firefighters can attach the light to their helmet or remove it in seconds without the need for tools, and can easily rotate it on the swivel clamp. Purchases of the new red model will directly benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which assists the families and surviving colleagues of firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.’’ 

Powered by C4 LED technology for extreme brightness, both the new red and the existing black Vantage also now feature an improved light output of 115 lumens and 7,000 candela peak beam intensity, and an increased beam distance of 167 meters.

The helmet light also features an ultra-bright blue safety tail light that enables firefighters and rescue workers to be seen in smoke-filled rooms, blackout conditions and other emergency situations regardless of which direction the light is shining.

The new light is the second of the company’s “red” products designed to raise money for NFFF.  The company also earmarks $1.00 from the sale of each Streamlight red Nano Light to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The tiny key chain light features a double-sided FOB with the NFFF and Streamlight logos.

The red Vantage uses two 3-volt CR123A lithium batteries and delivers six hours of continuous run time. Manufactured from lightweight, machined aircraft aluminum, the Vantage features a high-impact, chemically resistant engineering polymer LED housing, and a lens made from high-temperature, shock-mounted Boro Float glass. The IPX7 rated design is waterproof to one meter for 30 minutes.
