Southern California FIRE & EMS will be adding additional staff and services to meet the high demand
Southern California FIRE & EMS has announced the addition of new training classes, services, and staffing for the year 2010 that are geared to give the company a more solid footing in the fire/ems industry as well as the motion picture/events industry.

As one of the fastest growing motion picture/event safety companies, they have announced the following staffing additions to the team.

Joining the team is Robert Dunivin, an Engineer with the Los Angeles Fire Department and Instructor/Coordinator for the LAFD Bike Medic Team. Dunivin will be teaching a bike medic certification course as part of the training division in addition to CSTI Hazmat FRO/FRA classes. He will also be heading up the new Southern California Bike Medic Team which has already prompted interest from very notable event planners. The Bike Medic Team will also be available to the motion picture industry if needed on set for medical standby. As a bonus, Robert Dunivin is a certified Motion Picture Fire Safety Officer.

Also joining the team is LAFD Firefighter Paul Sasso. As a 20 years professional firefighter, he has been assigned to the motion picture/event medical standby division and stunt safety team. He will also help to oversee fire operations and to ensure that the staff is up to speed on the latest in safety skills. His experience will greatly improve all facets of fire/ems operations.

EMT's Matt Farrell and Andrew Farrell of Canyon Country, CA, have been promoted to Paramedic/FTO after completing their schooling and internship through the Bakersfield Paramedic Program. They have been on the team since 2008 and will continue to serve in their respective capacities. They have been assigned to ALS operations and to the stunt safety team.

Southern California FIRE & EMS will be adding additional staff and services to meet the high demand from the motion picture/events industry for professional and highly skilled personnel.
