SIDERISE cavity barriers ensure that the system will drain any moisture whilst maintaining airflow

SIDERISE has just launched its new installation guidance video for its ‘Open State’ horizontal and vertical cavity fire barriers.

SIDERISE RH ‘Open State’ horizontal cavity barriers have been specifically designed to meet the requirements for cavity fire barriers used in drained and ventilated facades. These barriers ensure that the system will drain any moisture whilst maintaining airflow. In the event of fire, they provide an effective hot smoke and fire seal.

SIDERISE RV vertical cavity barriers for rainscreen cladding are used to fulfil the void between the external envelope and the internal structure. Their unique stonewool lamella core construction enables them to accommodate the serviceability movement that’s normally associated with rainscreen facades.

Installation guidance video

The new installation guidance video provides step by step guidance on how to install both the horizontal and vertical cavity fire barriers and is now available on the SIDERISE website, and the company YouTube channel.

The video forms part of the wide range of Site Services that the Facades technical team offers to customers to ensure that everything runs smoothly, from product selection to final installation.
