Scott Health & Safety has announced a new contract with the U.S. Navy
Scott chosen to supply patented air-supplied respirators and accessories over five year term

Scott Health & Safety announces that it has been awarded a contract with the United States Navy in excess of $6.3M for the purchase of supplied-air respirators and related accessories. The contract outlines the Navy's committed purchase of 3,200 Ska-Pak® AT supplied-air respirators over five years.

The primary product acquired by the Navy, the Ska-Pak AT respirator, features a patented automatic, hands-free air transfer from a remote air source to the portable air cylinder if the continuous air supply is interrupted.

Each Ska-Pak AT respirator will include an AV-3000® facepiece, a 15-minute/30 year 4500 PSI carbon cylinder and a facepiece-attachable EPIC voice amplifier. Scott will also be training government personnel on the use and operation of the respirator and accessories.

Scott was chosen to supply the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division in Panama City, Florida, because of the Ska-Pak AT respirator's unique features.
