Cooper Industries plc is a global manufacturer of security and fire detection products with 2009 revenues of $5.1 billion.
Cooper Industries plc announced that Cooper Safety has completed the acquisition of Hernis Scan Systems AS, following receipt of regulatory clearances and the requisite shareholder approval from shareholders of Vislink plc. The acquisition of Hernis Scan Systems is the fifth acquisition by Cooper this year and the third in the explosion-proof harsh and hazardous environment platform.
