Rosenbauer is awarded for the "The App for Emergency Services Organizations" project in the "Organization and Collaboration" category at the eAward of Report Verlag. The award ceremony took place on October 16, 2023 in the ballroom of the T-Center with over 150 guests.
Rosenbauer's RDS Connected Command app supports fire departments and other blue-light organizations in alerting, situational management, organization, and communication. The interface is visually designed in such a way that it is immediately recognizable whether it is an operation or general information. When an alert occurs, the color code changes from blue/green to red (operations mode) and all important operational details are displayed. Status updates and live tracking are carried out automatically.

An integrated skills management speeds up mission planning, as it is immediately visible whether all required skills (e.g. respiratory protection provider, drone pilot, ...) are available. The intuitive chat function simplifies communication and enables a permanent exchange of information either in individual or group chats.

The RDS Connected Command app is versatile: either for coordination during alerts or as an organizational tool for events. Data (chat histories, events) is always encrypted and decrypted directly on the sender's or recipient's end device (end-to-end encryption). The basic version of the app is available free of charge. The premium version (fee-based) offers further functionalities, such as a connection to the control center, extended skills management, an access and rights system, or document and image management. The app is available now for Android and iOS in the Google Play Store and App Store.
The "eAward", an IT business award is presented annually by Report Verlag. The projects submitted are judged by an independent jury focusing on the customer benefits achieved.
