Protectowire FireSystems announces the release of a new retractable cable Protectowire MS-3091T, made specifically for storage tanks.
The features of MS-3091T are:
- Compatible with both PHSC and CTI Series Linear Heat Detectors
- Comprised of a 4 conductor, 20 AWG stranded type “TX” thermocouple twisted pair
- Temperature rated from -40°F to 221°F (105°C)
- UV, corrosion and weather-resistant
Universally compatible CTM Module
Globally, the company has seen an increased interest in the protection of both new and existing storage tanks. This has created a need for a retractable cable that is compatible with both Protectowire’s Confirmed Temperature Initiation (CTI) Series and their Standard PHSC Linear Heat Detectors.
All CTI Series Detectors must be supervised by the universally compatible CTM Module. The CTM interface module is designed with short circuit discrimination. The module can differentiate between an alarm condition, a short fault from damage, and an open fault within the CTI Series Detector. The MS-3091T is available now for immediate purchase.
