"America needs its firefighters now more than ever," says Mark Armstrong, a nationally certified firefighter and fire instructor who teaches new recruits to become permanent firefighters.
"Losing three hundred or more firefighters in an act of war is truly unthinkable and utterly devastating," says Armstrong. "Our numbers must not falter any more." A firefighter in Dracut, Massachussetts, Armstrong is author of the FabJob.com 'Guide to Become a Firefighter', an electronic book on how to get started in a firefighting career.
As a result of the recent tragedies, the price of the FabJob.com 'Guide to Become a Firefighter' has been cut to $10.00 U.S. to make it accessible to every American who wants to become a firefighter.
100% of proceeds from sales of the e-book will be donated to New York Firefighters 9-11 Disaster Relief Fund, established by the International Association of Firefighters, the Uniformed Firefighters Association of New York and the New York Uniformed Fire Officer Association to raise funds for the families of the fallen firefighters and EMS personnel in New York City.
"This offer will stand until every FDNY firefighter lost in the World Trade Center collapse is found or the search is otherwise deemed complete," says Armstrong. "They, their families and all of FDNY are in our thoughts and prayers."
