| Motorola will showcase its range of public safety solutions at BAPCO 2009 |
Experts from Motorola will be on hand to discuss how developments in Motorola products and solutions help public safety bodies quickly and effectively respond to emergency situations.
Motorola representatives will also be delivering presentations during the BAPCO Conference, sharing the Company's experience in Mission Critical Design.
Bruce Claxton, senior director, Design Integration, Motorola, will deliver a presentation on Mission Critical Design for First Responders, explaining how user centered design processes must integrate with the rigors of social science and the art of design in order to develop ideally suited devices for mission critical needs.
Eddie Smith, director of Services, Motorola G&PS, EMEA, will also give an overview on strategies for developing a resilient network; from funding to performance requirements; from technology to environmental challenges and opportunities. Mr Smith's presentation will also include a look at the hydrogen fuel-cell powered TETRA base stations which have played a key role in improving the resilience of Denmark's nationwide public safety network.
At BAPCO, Motorola will discuss its legacy of engineering, technology and rapid prototyping, as well as how it has included the rigor of social science within the design process. Specifically, Motorola will comment on how design integration has been tailored to the mission critical environment and how design and usability are key factors in ensuring effective products and solutions for public safety workers.
