A fire in a historical building can have serious consequences. Even a harmless fire can grow out of control in minutes, unless it is immediately suppressed. With a fire protection system, damage and downtime can be minimized.

Marioff has more than 20 years of experience in protecting cultural heritage buildings and the valuables therein with its HI-FOG solution.

HI-FOG protects wooden churches, museums, libraries and art galleries. Two examples of such heritage buildings protected by HI-FOG are the Duchess Anna Amalia Library and the Bristol Old Vic Theater. The Duchess Anna Amalia Library is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Germany, where Johann Wolfgang Goethe worked as a librarian for over thirty years.

HI-FOG

The library houses a priceless collection of manuscripts, medieval autographs and works of art. Built in 1766, the Bristol Old Vic Theatre is an 18th Century Georgian Grade I building housing, the oldest continuously working theatre in England. HI-FOG protects the heritage part of the theatre including seating areas, the Royal Box and the wooden beamed roof space that is open to public viewing. These are just two examples of the complex unique projects we have worked on with our customers.

Marioff is a pioneer in the water mist industry with thousands of deliveries of high-quality water mist firefighting systems. HI-FOG’s firefighting performance is verified in thousands of full-scale fire tests. As a result, HI-FOG has received over one hundred type approval certificates.
