Lisa Yarussi comes to NFPA with experience in the areas of publishing, medical manufacturing, health and wellness, retail, software, utilities and electrical distribution.
The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) announced the appointment of Lisa Yarussi as vice president of Human Resources. Yarussi will lead the Human Resources Division of the Quincy-based fire safety nonprofit which is known worldwide as a leader in fire, electrical, building, and life safety. NFPA has more than 300 employees and more than 70,000 members.
In her new role, Yarussi will lead a team that is responsible for all human resources functions, including managing employee relations, training and development, benefit and compensation planning, and recruitment and retention.
Yarussi comes to NFPA with experience in the areas of publishing, medical manufacturing, health and wellness, retail, software, utilities and electrical distribution. Most recently, she held the position of chief talent officer at Millennium Partners Sports Club, which operates The Sports Club/LA facilities across the U.S. She was also human resources director for Granite City Electric Company, the largest independent electrical distributor in New England; and Sonepar U.S., a worldwide electrical distributor. Yarussi holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from Assumption College and a master’s degree in Management from Lesley College.
