2010 North American Vehicle Rescue Challenge to co-locate with Canadian Industrial Emergency Expo
Calgary Coast Hotel, Toronto,  will be the official venue of the 26th Annual North American vehicle rescue challenge

More than 30 international teams will take part in this extrication championship. Hosted by the Calgary Fire Department, the challenge coincides with the celebration of the CFD's one hundred and twenty-fifth anniversary." This is an excellent way to highlight our talents, experience and safety record while bringing teams together from across the world,"  reports Randy Schmitz, Calgary Fire Department.

In addition to the 30 anticipated teams consisting of 16 emergency response personnel, there will also be a learning symposium that individuals can register for. Top quality speakers from across North America will speak, train and update delegates on the latest products, technologies, issues and training methods.

Co-located with the event will be the 5th Annual Canadian Industrial Emergency Conference. An anticipated 100 exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate and educate both industrial and municipal emergency response professionals. There will be several educational tracks, keynote speakers and networking opportunities. Plus, a two-day trade show event that will help end users, emergency response planners, managers and safety personnel source out the newest products and services designed to meet the needs of municipal and industrial first responders.
