International School for Search and Explosives Education - ISSEE’s experienced instructors have been brushing up their teaching skills this summer, with a Level 3 Qualification in Education and Training.

The team worked with Train Aid to achieve the nationally recognized, Ofqual-approved Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Train Aid is a national training provider, which specializes in accredited first aid, teaching and assessing qualifications.

The aim of the training course is to give learners more confidence and knowledge, in order to teach in an effective and inclusive learning environment. During the course each participant designs, delivers and evaluates a lesson, gaining invaluable feedback from their teacher and peers.

ISSEE’s instructors work with national and international agencies, government ministries, defense & security equipment manufacturers, commercial security companies, oil and gas industries, NGOs and charities.

Consultancy and training for security and counter terrorism

The company’s services cover the full spectrum from consultancy and training for security and counter terrorism at the national level through to the safe, compliant management and disposal of munitions and explosives for defense and commercial companies.

ISSEE works with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) to deliver awards within the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) for an increasing number of courses, allowing explosives workers to gain academic recognition for their competencies in the explosives field.
