HURST Jaws of Life is raising the bar in industry performance for battery-powered combination tools, by introducing the SC 758E2 Combi tool, with improved ratings, wider spreads and larger cutter openings.

High performance rescue tools

We’re continually improving the power and performance of HURST Jaws of Life rescue tools to help first responders, as they encounter increasingly demanding scenarios during extrications,” said Bruce Johnston, the Director of Marketing and Product Management at HURST Jaws of Life.

Bruce Johnston adds, “Our new battery-powered eDRAULIC SC 758E2 combination tool offers high performance, with the innovative features needed to successfully attack the tough metals on today’s cars.

HURST Jaws of Life SC 758E2

The new HURST Jaws of Life SC 758E2, part of the Li-Ion rechargeable battery-powered eDRAULIC line, offers a C9 NFPA Cutter rating and an overall rating of A8/B9/C9/DE/E9.

Fast opening and closing action on the SC 758E2 tool ensures speed during time-critical rescues

The cutting performance, combined with a 1” increase in spreading distance (18.7 inches) and nearly two inches more in the cutter opening, creates the most powerful battery-powered combi tool in the market currently.

Fast opening and closing action on the SC 758E2 tool ensures speed during time-critical rescues, and the cutting blade surface is taken to the end of the blade, for more aggressive blade geometry.

‘Shark Tooth’ removable tips

HURST Jaws of Life ‘Shark Tooth’ removable tips, four rows of shark-like teeth for maximum grip, offer multi-functional design, while the ergonomically designed star-grip allows for tool actuation, from almost any gripping position.

The HURST Jaws of Life SC 758E2 tool is expected to ship in mid- to late-November, 2019 and will replace the previous SC 757E2 version.
