A youth rugby team in South Wales, United Kingdom (UK), has been scoring tries in style this season, thanks to a brand new kit. This season, players from Croesyceiliog Rugby Football Club (Croesyceiliog RFC), based in Gwent, Wales have looked the part in their new team strips, bearing the club’s crest.
New kit for Croesyceiliog RFC team
The new kit was funded by Asset VRS and Hardstaff Barriers, the globally renowned manufacturers and suppliers of roadside safety barriers and perimeter security systems for a wide range of diverse sectors.
The companies are part of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC, an international group, which is committed to supporting local communities by delivering economic benefits, partnering with schools, sponsoring local sports clubs and recruiting locally.

Claire Manley, Croesyceiliog RFC’s Team Manager, said “Can we say a big thank you for all your support, in sponsoring Croesyceiliog RFC for a new kit. We really do appreciate the support, to help us be able to get a new kit for the new season. Without your help, we wouldn’t have been able to do this.”
Known locally as the Cockerels, Croesyceiliog Rugby Football Club was founded in 1881 and has played at the ground located at Woodlands Road, in Croesyceiliog, since the 1960s.
Support for a number of local sports clubs
Dave Todd, the Director at Hardstaff Barriers, said “Once again, we are delighted to be supporting a local sports team. It’s great to hear that they are getting on so well with their new kit.”
He adds, “We have supported a number of local sports clubs over the years and believe that these teams are such an important part of local communities, and have so much to offer young people.”
