2022 is the year in which Granite Workwear will focus on providing even more sustainable, recyclable, and environmentally friendly workwear. Throughout 2021, it released many sustainable-focused workwear garments, including the Leo Workwear Kingsford High-Vis Trouser, the Leo Workwear Combesgate Snood Sweatshirt, and many more.
Towards the end of 2021, Granite’s focus on a greener policy grew, with COP26 becoming more popular as the world shifts its focus to being environmentally friendly, using sustainable and recyclables instead of non-recyclable materials and fabrics.
Recycling policy
Therefore, Granite introduced a recycling policy, detailing the process of destructing and recycling your workwear (that is originally purchased ) in a safe and controlled environment. Whatsmore is, that this is entirely free to do for all Granite Workwear customers. So, instead of throwing this out, send this back, and it will destruct and recycle this garment properly.
The risks of the old workwear falling into the wrong hands or ending up in a landfill are significantly decreased as once it has been destroyed the workwear, will then be recycled into another garment. This change of focus leads us to believe that 2022 will be another significant year for us as we strive to be a greener and more sustainable company.
