The pump row prop redevelopment has been taken up by FSA

FSA's pump row prop is a reproduction of a product transfer unit, very common in petrochemical facilities.

Construction to refurbish and incorporate client-suggested changes to the Pump Row Prop have begun in earnest. The Pump Row Prop is a reproduction of a product transfer unit, very common in petrochemical facilities. Refurbishment of the prop includes installing a HDPE liner over the existing concrete slab and then pouring a new concrete slab on top of the liner.

The new liner and slab will minimize any potential contamination of the soils underneath and greatly reduce the maintenance efforts required on the pad. The refurbishment is being funded as part of the Financial Sustainability Plan. Weather permitting, pad repairs should be complete in early February. Rebuilding of the steel portion of the prop will take place throughout February, and Pump Row 2.0 should be ready for training exercises starting in March.

If you are planning a turnaround at your facility in the very near future, please keep the FSA in mind. It welcomes the use of spare 3", 4" and 6" valves, pumps and motors.
