Winning creative assists the Fire Protection Association Australia spread the fire safety message

Fire Protection Association Australia (FPAA) has been provided with free advertising artwork and placement courtesy of creative agency, The 303 Group.

Employees of The 303 Group were challenged to design an advertisement for a not-for-profit or charity as part of an internal competition, kindly donating the winning entry save lives, stub it out to FPA Australia.

Save lives, stub it out highlights the dangers associated with improperly extinguished cigarettes, which have the potential to cause extensive property damage and loss of life.

Scott Williams, CEO of FPA Australia is grateful for the 303 Group's assistance in highlighting an important safety concern, saying, "A lit cigarette butt thrown from a car window was responsible for the loss of two lives and fifty homes in Bendigo on Black Saturday. If this advertisement can make just one person stop and think before they toss their cigarette, we can potentially avoid another devastating incident."

To help spread the message, the 303 Group have also arranged placement of the artwork in shopping centres throughout Australia.
