FoxFury Lighting Solutions will display its LED forensic light sources and portable, rechargeable LED scene lights at the International Association of Coroners & Medical Examiners (IAC&ME) Training Conference for the first time. The conference runs June 23 to June 25 in Las Vegas, NV.
Coroners and medical examiners have a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week job. Sometimes they have to travel at night into dimly lit places to perform field investigations. Lighting is absolutely critical in their inspections. Flood and/or spot lights are needed to examine the deceased while forensic lights sources help locate evidence. FoxFury offers innovative, professional grade LED lighting tools that can assist.
FoxFury's most beneficial lighting tool to coroners and medical examiners is probably its Nomad Area-Spot lights. These portable, compact scene lights can be taken anywhere and deploy (and stow) in 20 seconds or less. They are especially valuable when working in dimly lit or secluded areas and in blackout situations. All Nomad lights utilize CREE LEDs and run on a rechargeable Li-ion battery system. Part of the inspection also involves looking for forensic evidence that could help determine cause of death. Forensic light sources (wavelength specific lights) are used to locate blood, bruising and trace evidence. FoxFury offers dual wavelength Rook UV (380 and 395 nm) and Rook Blue (450 and 470 nm) forensic lights, which will be on display at the IAC&ME conference. These lights emit two wavelengths at one time, which provides two peak intensities. This leads to more visible fluorescence or absorption.
FoxFury also offers hands-free wide angle headlamps, compact white light flashlights and other lighting tools that may be of value to coroners, medical examiners, death investigators and crime scene investigators.
