The partnership offers a scholarship for psychological first aid for fire, rescue, EMS, law enforcement responders

FoxFury Lighting Solutions has partnered with C4L & Associates and 1st Responder Treatment on a custom hand painted Reach For The Light firefighter helmet to bring awareness to responder stress. Funds raised from this helmet raffle will go towards stress management training for first responders and emergency workers.

In the arena of emergency management, responders can be exposed to catastrophic events. These events (which may include severely injured children or adults, dead bodies or body parts, or a loss of colleagues) can cause some of our nation's heroes to be in need of rescue themselves. Responder stress and traumatic incident stress, if not properly identified and managed early on, can develop into harmful addictions and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) that directly threaten responders and their families.

FoxFury has partnered with 1st Responder Treatment and C4L & Associates to offer a scholarship for psychological first aid for fire, rescue, EMS, law enforcement and other first responders. A special custom painted Morning Pride firefighter helmet was created by Smoke Eater Customs to bring awareness to this issue. The fifth and final sponsor on this project is Firefighter Wife.

This special Reach For The Light helmet is literally a work of art. It shows a firefighter reaching out for the light at the end of the tunnel. The light symbolizes hope and freedom. The rear and sides of the helmet are also hand painted. The helmet also features a custom painted leather shield that reads "Brotherhood Forged By Fire."

This helmet is being raffled off and a lucky winner will be announced on November 15. To enter the raffle, visit the Reach For The Light helmet entry page and purchase electronic raffle tickets. Each ticket is $5 and 100% of funds raised will go to a training scholarship fund for fire and police departments in need of critical incident stress management.

"The purpose of this helmet was to create awareness among responders and those in their lives. To bring them hope. It's also a beautiful helmet and a true work of art," said Eddy Weiss, founder of C4L & Associates.

This helmet will be on display at the Superstorm Sandy Symposium from Nov 12-16. A special video based on a true story called Return To The Station was also released to bring more awareness to responder stress and show that there is hope.
