The technology behind OxyReduct® is a clever solution to prevent a fire from developing in the first place. To do this, the oxygen content in the area to be protected is permanently reduced below the ignition limit of the materials present there and kept at this level in a controlled manner.
The nitrogen required to reduce the oxygen is generated on site from the ambient air as required.
With FirExting®: extinguish fires
WAGNER is also presenting a gas extinguishing system for data centers at the trade fair that works efficiently and, above all, without leaving any residues: FirExting®. Depending on the operator's requirements and the individual conditions on site, CO2, Novec 1230 and, above all, nitrogen are used as extinguishing gases.
The inert gas nitrogen enables multi-stage fire protection concepts in conjunction with an OxyReduct® system. If fire detectors such as TITANUS® detect smoke development, a FirExting® extinguishing system can be used to quickly reduce the oxygen level to a concentration that can be used to extinguish the fire. The OxyReduct® system can then maintain the reduced oxygen concentration in the room for a long time until the cause of the fire is located and countermeasures are initiated.
