A three-day comprehensive conference is set to highlight the importance of firefighting and emergency response in the Middle East region.
Clarion Events Middle East today announced that a number of high-profile speakers will be joining forces to launch the first dedicated market platform for Fire, Rescue and Emergency Response professionals.
The platform will take the form of a significant three-day conference during the inaugural Fire & Rescue Middle East event and will showcase the importance of using the latest strategies and technologies to take proactive steps for combating and containing potential life-threatening hazards related to fire and emergency situations.
Organised by Clarion Events Middle East at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from October 31 to November 2, 2011, the event is a new and dedicated conference and exhibition welcoming a plethora of expert speakers exclusively from the fire, rescue and safety industries.
Industry leaders and professionals will present case studies and discussions to address the strategic, operational and tactical challenges relating to any man-made or natural emergency. The exhibition will display products related to the prevention, detection and response for all fire and non-fire emergencies. The event will be co-located with the Counter Terror Arabia international conference and exhibition, giving it added significance.

Day one of the conference will commence with the identification of potential challenges faced by organizations involved in firefighting, safety and rescue. The final day of the conference will bring together speakers and delegates from both Fire and Rescue Middle East and Counter Terror Arabia International Conference and Exhibition. Speakers will evaluate the need for a multi-agency command response during major disasters.
In addition, experts will provide an in-depth analysis to showcase the latest strategies and technologies to control threats relating to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Enhanced Conventional Weapons (CBRNe) and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). They will demonstrate the importance of taking proactive steps consisting of training and equipping emergency response services with the latest equipment and techniques for detection and neutralization of such threats, and its direct correlation with higher efficiency of emergency response units during times of national crisis.
