Fike’s Voice Messaging system is the ideal foundation for Mass Notification or Emergency Communication Systems

Fike announces the expansion of its advanced Integrated Voice Messaging system, designed for distributed intelligence and ultimate survivability.

Fike’s Voice Messaging system has several key new products and benefits and is now Listed to the new UL 2572 Mass Notification Systems standard, making it the ideal foundation for Mass Notification (MNS) or Emergency Communication (ECS) Systems.

ECS systems are designed to integrate fire, security and communications systems for immediate, responsive and effective notification of fire, weather, intrusion, and many other important emergency situations. Fike's system offers a comprehensive solution which brings together state-of-the-art communications technology to deliver timesensitive information quickly and efficiently.

“The flexibility to deliver specific communications for different types of emergency situations makes the use of the Fike Voice Messaging System an invaluable tool to the safe and efficient operation of many types of facilities,” says Kevin Montgomery, Fike Electrical Product Manager, Facilities Protection. “With the additional products and features added to the existing system, Fike now provides even more flexibility, survivability and advanced technology in its Integrated Voice Messaging System.”

In addition to being Listed to UL 2572 Mass Notification Systems Standard, the Fike system now offers several key product additions, including an optional Local Operating Console (LOC) or remote microphone.

“A strategic addition to Fike’s Integrated Voice Messaging system, the LOC allows you to remotely page and/or initiate pre-recorded messages from a remote location. It can also be used with Fike’s CyberCat line of Fire Alarm products to provide voice capabilities within smaller applications,” explained Kevin Montgomery.
