Eurotech partners with Veritas to offer fire risk assessment support and fire strategy planning for client sites. Veritas provides full third-party certified support under the BAFE SP205 certification scheme to ensure the very best advice and support is provided for all elements of the assessment and any subsequent works that may be required.

In the period since the publication of the Hackitt report post the Grenfell fire, the expectations of the assessment as the prima-face document on which a business makes its life safety planning has become more onerous and as a result the need for both accountability and expert guidance more relevant than ever before.

Compliance with assessment

The insurance market expects disclosure of all uninstructed non-compliance works post-assessment or following a BAFE take-over test and expects policyholders to meet these expectations. Likewise, post-assessment, the implementation of the action plan within the report carries more responsibility for the Responsible Person and any such works must be documented as they are completed.

The need for competent and qualified people to undertake such works is vital to ensure that client’s site is correctly assessed and supported, and Veritas can provide this under the BAFE SP205 scheme.
