In this unprecedented time of a Global COVID-19 Pandemic, Euralarm informed users a few weeks ago about the Board’s decision to postpone its annual event that was planned on May 27th.
The General Assembly, Industry Forum and 50th-Anniversary celebrations, and subsequent Section meetings, are rescheduled to October 29th and 30th, in the same location as previously communicated at the Renaissance Hotel in Brussels.
Extraordinary General Assembly
Euralarm will run essential administrative tasks for the organization and allowing to stay operational
However, to comply with some statutory duties, Euralarm will hold an Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) on the originally planned date, May 27th, which will be held online from 16:30 to 17:30 CET. It will send shortly a Webex invitation for the online meeting for which users will be requested to register.
During this meeting, Euralarm will run essential administrative tasks for the organization and allowing to stay operational until the GA in October.
Assembly agenda
The main topics for the EGA approval are: 1. the budget for the 2020/21 financial year; and 2. a motion to postpone the GA until October 29th, 2020 which is outside the timeframe of six months defined in the statutes.
Users will find the agenda of the Euralarm Extraordinary General Assembly on May 27th attached to this letter. All documents relevant to the meeting will be accessible in due course in the Euralarm Members Area. The agenda and information package for the regular GA in October will be distributed after summer.
Details in case of absence
