EPIC-FSC, the nonprofit Fire Safe Council for Calabasas, is thrilled to announce the launch of its revamped and improved website, designed to provide residents with comprehensive and easy-to-navigate resources for emergency preparedness.

  • Book a Home Hardening Assessment Appointment: Trained EPIC members will come to your home to conduct a home hardening assessment. These assessments include valuable information on protecting homes against wildfires focusing on defensible spaces and fortifying structures to limit the spread of fire. The assessments were developed in collaboration with CalFire and the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains (RCDSMM).
  • Learn about the Emergency Communication for Home Occupants (ECHO) program: EPIC members will also teach and facilitate radio communication among household clusters to enable residents to stay connected and informed during and after emergency incidents.
