A Dutch virtual reality tool for the education, training and assessment of safety and security professionals, XVR, will be introduced in the UK at the Fire & Rescue exhibition in Birmingham from 11 - 14 May.

With XVR, created by Dutch company E-Semble, instructors can easily create a wide variety of 3D incident scenarios to provide course participants with an interactive and realistic learning environment. XVR combines didactical knowledge of education and training in safety and security with state of the art simulation technology.

Recently the Severn Park Fire and Rescue Training Centre has decided to become the first XVR user in the UK. XVR will be used in the incident command and critical core training.

The training centre has chosen XVR above other available products for its flexibility, user friendliness and stability.
