Ballyclare is focused on offering excellent service levels for its core markets

Cosalt Workwear has been relaunched under the brand name Ballyclare. The announcement signals the beginning of a new era for the leading provider of protective clothing and equipment and follows the acquisition of the business earlier this year by entrepreneur David Ross.

Explaining the rationale behind the rebrand, Ballyclare's Managing Director Carlton Greener said it was a positive step forward as the company looks to the future.

"A name change was inevitable so it was always a question of when, not if, we rebrand. After examining various options, we felt the Ballyclare name makes sense on so many levels. It is our registered company name, and is also already well known in certain markets. As Ballyclare we can build a business with a long and sustainable future and look forward to doing so."

"From our customers' and suppliers' perspective we will have a new name and a new look but our commitment to supplying quality products and delivering excellent service remains the same. We are proud of our heritage and the experience our people have amassed over many years in this industry. Although a new brand, Ballyclare embodies this legacy. Today's announcement marks a new chapter in our long and illustrious history," added Carlton.

Ballyclare is focused on offering excellent service levels, lead times and delivery turnaround alongside the development of new products and services. Its core markets are the fire and rescue services, railway operators, the military and police, utility companies, motor technicians and businesses in the road construction and aggregates industries.
