The entire catalogue will also be available digitally on memory stick.

With Bristol's presence in the PPE market having broadened considerably in the last few years, the introduction of a new, comprehensive technical and product catalogue provides coverage of the complete range of emergency services PPE now supplied to UK and overseas markets.

Comprising eight freestanding sections housed in a new corporate folder, information on firefighter PPE is covered in sections on Structural, USAR, Wildland and Marine as well as a comprehensive guide to Compatible PPE and Rescue Tools. These sections are underpinned by a 14 page technical section covering performance standards, availability and selection of fabrics, the essence of bespoke PPE supply and lifetime garment care. A section on the Ergoflex System explains the concept of an integrated clothing package incorporating non-PPE items designed to be worn at non-operational times as well as their use with structural firefighting coats and trousers.

Specialist PPE for other emergency services is covered in a separate section which provides product and technical information about Bristol's innovative protective clothing for public order policing and the ambulance service.

"For the first time the entire Bristol product and service offering is encapsulated in one comprehensive and flexible brochure package"

Launching the new catalogue, Roger Startin, Bristol's joint managing director said: "For the first time the entire Bristol product and service offering is encapsulated in one comprehensive and flexible brochure package. A total of over 60 pages of detailed product specifications, technical information and procurement guidelines brings together in one place everything the company has to offer the emergency services not only in the UK but in the 110 countries around the world where our products are specified and used. The importance we attach to our overseas business is reflected in the fact that the structural PPE section is available in 5 additional languages including French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic in support of our 70 distributors around the globe."

As part of the objective of making this information as widely accessible as possible, Roger added, "The entire catalogue will also be available digitally on memory stick allowing individual pdfs to be downloaded and printed locally at any time anywhere in the world when information is required."
