Since July 11th, the department has been training every day with one goal in mind. Whether it was in rain or 95-degree heat, Company 11’s officers, “probies”, and firefighters were out stretching hose-lines, throwing ladders, and practicing rescues for multiple hours a day, every day.
The prospective firefighter’s hard work paid off this past weekend on August 29th and 30th at the company-wide live-burns. Each prospective firefighter worked to showcase their skills and prove that they were ready to join the team.
The Officers and membership of Branchville Volunteer Fire Company are honored to introduce and congratulate thirteen new interior firefighters, each dedicated to protecting the greater College Park community.
