E811 was dispatched for a report of a house fire in the 9700 block of Narragansett Parkway in College Park. E811 turned out with 4 and arrived as the first due engine.
Upon arrival, the crew found a two-story single-family home with smoke showing from the roof. The working fire dispatch was called for as E811’s crew stretched a 200′ attack line to Side Alpha and made an interior attack. Upon further investigation, units found smoke conditions in the house due to an attic fan fire.
The fire was quickly extinguished with no extension, and the smoke was cleared. E811 continued to investigate, check for extension, and assist other units on the scene. E811 operated for approximately two hours before returning to service.
