Another type 1 command vehicle (ELW 1) was handed over for the state of Brandenburg. This time had the crew and the administration from the Teltow-Fläming district as guests.

The vehicle handed over with a sovereign task is a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 516 CDI in "fire red" with all-wheel drive, 120 kW / 163 PS engine power, a permissible total weight of 5,000 kg, a high roof, the special rear step for trailer operation, an automatic, lateral one Entry step and an extendable awning with a custom-made awning as well as a specially coordinated signal foil.

Design

The motor vehicle as a panel van is equipped with an electrical 230V external power supply, an emergency power unit, a comprehensive energy concept, an emergency start device and an accident data recorder.

The ELW 1 was divided into a work area, a secured technical room behind the left sliding door and a rear equipment room with loads. The lighting in the driver and team area can be dimmed in several stages and is also equipped with green night lighting.

Features

The focus was on the safety of the crews and citizens by designing and expanding a vehicle tailored to the purposes The crew consists of at least one squad (1/3). The driver and front passenger seat can be rotated and thus convert into two full-fledged, additional workplaces. In the air-conditioned workroom, there is a multifunction printer and a wide range of control center technology for different situations.

In the interior, a non-slip, easy-care, and extremely hard-wearing sprayed floor ensures the greatest possible safety. The high-performance LED lighting 2 x right, 2 x left, at the rear ensure very good illumination in the area around the vehicle. A specially made and durable shelving system in the separated rear area offers adapted storage space for the materials carried.

Additional features

The special signaling system DBS 4000 with power flash, day/night sensors, with the control unit BE 314 of the tone sequence system 624 with compressor - simulation and a stick microphone for outside announcements from Hänsch are reliable companions in combination with the front flashing system Sputnik Nano.
