AW Technology strives to provide their clients with high-quality support, as part of which they’re introducing a regular ‘Inside your tunnel’ feature, in order to help clients get the very most from the company’s products and keep them performing well for years to come.

AW Technology’s first feature focuses on how to keep backing up all the important data, such as calibration factors and test profile parameters.

All AW Technology test tunnels are supplied with their powerful, flexible, easy to use software, LabTunnel.

On dispatch from the production department, the tunnel will have its own unique configuration file, named tunnel.ini. It’s this file that contains the data and the more users use their tunnel and configure it, in order to suit their own needs, the more unique and important the tunnel.ini file becomes.

AW Technology to keep a copy of the tunnel.ini file

AW Technology will always keep a copy of the tunnel.ini file, as it was when it was first shipped to the client, so as to ensure that if the PC suffers a major issue, AW Technology can help to revert back to delivery status. But it is vital that users take frequent backups of their tunnel.ini file, as it ‘grows’ in size.

Most of AW Technology’s clients are aware of this important procedure, but the company feels a friendly reminder might be useful. For those having any questions about this or any other aspects of the AW Technology test tunnel, please don't hesitate to contact the company’s staff.
