Asia Info Day provided a glimpse of the upcoming security expo, Intersec Thailand 2010

Asia Info Day - Advancing Security in Southeast Asia, held on 4 February, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bangkok, attracted a number of industry leaders and participants.

The event was organised for security industry peers to update themselves with the latest market intelligence and make contact with a number of experts. Dr Vallop Kingchansilp, President for Asian Professional Security Association (Thailand Chapter); Mr Hayden Hsu, Editor in Chief for A&S Publications; Mr Sakchai Yuangtrakul, the Association of Siamese Architects and Ms Regina Tsai, General Manager for Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd, spoke at the event and shared their views on the latest security market trends and developments in Southeast Asia.

In addition, the event offered an opportunity for participants to learn more about the first edition of Intersec Thailand 2010 which will be held from 15 - 17 September, 2010. Intersec Thailand expects to attract more than 100 exhibitors and 6,000 professional buyers to view the latest products and services in over 5,000 sq mt of exhibition space. The fair has received strong support from the Thai government and a number of leading associations. Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Labour and Royal Thai Police have confirmed their support to the show.
