The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) is pleased to announce it has moved to its new head office in Coventry. The new building provides the ASFP with greater capacity, enabling it to offer even more support and services to its members.
The new premises, which will be opened in two phases, provide office space, as well as housing the new ASFP training academy. It offers a practical training facility, catering facilities, meeting and break-out/rest areas, and provides a permanent home for the famous ASFPTV.
ASFP members and non-members
All these spaces will also be open for ASFP member and non-member use at preferential rental rates
The current phase sees the ASFP team move into the first-floor office space, while phase 2 will see the opening of the ground-floor ASFP Academy. This area provides extensive training facilities, as well as housing the Association’s board room and meeting rooms. All these spaces will also be available for ASFP member and non-member use at preferential rental rates.
On moving into the building ASFP Managing Director Mike Ward declared: “Having spent several months acquiring and developing our new building to provide modern facilities which will meet the growing needs of the Association and its members, we are excited to finally move into our own office facilities – for the first time in the Association’s history."
British Coatings Federation
Ward added: “We are hugely grateful to the British Coatings Federation for hosting us in their offices and providing administrative services for the last three years. However, we feel that the Association is finally coming of age, and we are delighted to finally have ASFP premises of our own."
“We will soon be publishing details of our official opening event and look forward to welcoming members and other stakeholders into our new office facilities and Academy over the coming months.”
