As part of the commitment towards creating a more diverse and inclusive culture at Apollo, it is proud to announce the parent company, Halma’s new Paid Parental Leave initiative to help the employees with their growing families.
Paid Parental Leave initiative
Effective from 1st October 2020, this new policy allows for 14 weeks of paid leave for births, surrogacy, and adoptions, offering men and women an equal amount of paid parental leave regardless of their gender or their sexual orientation.
Apollo understands the importance for both parents to play an active role in the early stages of their child’s life and therefore this parental leave policy will enable new parents to do so.
financial security
“Our employees’ health and wellbeing are important to us, so we’re excited to be part of this Halma initiative. Offering paid parental leave gives our staff and their families the financial security they need when taking time off with their new family member whilst being supported by us,” said Wendy Osborne, Director of Talent & Culture at Apollo.
“We encourage both men and women to take all of the entitled 14 weeks to allow them to adjust to their new role as a parent, or an additional family member.”
