A new data privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is being introduced. It is relevant to any organization that has dealings with the data of persons in the European Economic Area (EEA).
As a result, APE Fire & Security is publishing a new Privacy Notice to make it easier for users to find out how it uses and protects users' data.

The Privacy Notice provides additional information about what APE Fire & Security does and sets out the rights in line with the General Data Protection Regulation including information such as:
- Users increased their rights about the information Ape Fire & Security hold about them.
- The legal basis on which APE Fire & Security collect data about users, and how they collect it and use it.
- How long APE Fire & Security retains user data?
The Privacy Notice is effective from 25 May 2018. It ensures APE Fire & Security continues to comply with privacy laws and regulations. There are no changes to the terms and conditions. If they make changes to these, they will let users know.

- It will process all personal data in compliance with the new regulations.
- It will endeavor to keep all records up to date & accurate.
- Users' personal data will be stored securely & in line with the privacy policy.
- It will not keep users' personal data any longer than they need to.
- It will not share users' personal details without consent unless detailed within its privacy policy.
- Personal data will only be utilized for legitimate interest only.
Your Rights:
- Right of access: Users can ask what data is being stored and with whom, if any, their data is shared with.
- Right of rectification: Users can request incorrectly recorded data, to be corrected.
- Right of erasure: Users can request that their personal data be erased.
