IAFC Senior Advisor Alan Caldwell  received NPSTC 2010 award for his excellent professional work

The award honors an individual in public-safety communications who has demonstrated the highest levels of personal and professional conduct.

IAFC Senior Advisor Alan Caldwell was named the 2010 recipient of the National Public Safety Telecommunications Council's (NPSTC) Richard DeMellow Award. The award honors an individual in public-safety communications who has demonstrated the highest levels of personal and professional conduct and performance in the local, state and national public-safety communication efforts.

Upon receiving the award in November at the annual Radio Club of America banquet in New York City, Caldwell thanked his colleagues at the NPSTC, citing the organization's role in providing a collective public-safety voice for sound public policy on critical public-safety communication issues.

The Richard DeMellow Award is named after a member of the Radio Club of America who was instrumental in bringing all of the radio frequency coordinators together to form NPSTC.
