When Deafgard X receives a signal from the TX unit, the Deafgard X bedside unit will activate the high-intensity strobe LED and connected vibrating pillow pad. A flashing strobe and LCD provide visual indication that the fire alarm is sounding, allowing the deaf or hard of hearing person to leave their room to a place of safety.
